And all of a sudden we’re here. This Sunday marks the start of the “what’s said and what’s left unsaid” SCLindyBand tour. You’ll find us at The Wheatsheaf Hotel in Thebarton, joined by local pals - Harry T. Gent [Terrior Band] and David Pace 🎺 [Painters & Dockers].

Will Lindy need to bring a fan?

Sometimes it takes a bit of research to find out more about Lindy’s life outside of The Go-Betweens. Michael Dwyer’s article in The Age did shed a glimmer, a tiny glimpse of her life outside of music. Of course there’s always Tracey Thorn’s book 📖 “My Rock n Roll Friend”, failing that Wikipedia taught me a thing or two about her political aspirations. Did you know she ran against Malcolm Turnbull?

Here’s Lindy >>>>>>>

It’s also not long until we play Melbourne - we’ll be launching 🚀the album at MEMO MUSIC HALL in St Kilda on Sat OCT 25 with an array of special guests including Romy Vager (pictured below), Jack Howard [Hunters & Collectors] and old Blackeyed Susan’s band mate Dan Luscombe. Opening the night are Belle Phoenix & Jeffrey Wegener.

Also, for those who didn’t know, my brother Mark is returning from Spain for a solo tour. Catch him here:

Hope you’ve found the SCLB record somewhere out there. Distributed by MGM in Australia, on Bandcamp and here of course.

See you somewhere,
