Finally. It’s taken a while but the vinyl has arrived. It looks and sounds swell.

Snarski vs Snarski ~ “Waiting For The Bell”

Three format options ~ black 130gm vinyl on matte, gatefold CD and there’s also a digital download which is only available on BANDCAMP.

I’ve collaborated with my brother Mark [Jackson Code | Chad’s Tree | Nearly Brothers] ~ exchanged songs, revisited some Chad’s Tree tunes, played numerous guitars and together shadow puppets on theremin. Produced by Shane O’Mara at Yikesville. Artwork by Jarren Gallway. Photos by Kym Cohen & Ross Waterman.

Here’s where all the songs originate.

Tickets on sale for the 2025 tour here and a note from my brother Mark below.

Btw record stores should have copies next month, [apart from Rocksteady Records, Melb who nabbed some LPs and CDs yesterday], till then Bandcamp and the online shop.

Thanks for your patience.

Rob

Rob and I hadn’t been in a recording studio together since December 1988 when we were putting the finishing touches on Chad’s Tree’s last album Kerosene. We’re both different beasts from those days.

In my case I’ve always been more road map. I want to get from A to B and rarely enjoy detours. Hold on, who am I kidding? I love detours. Though I seek perfection, I am not a perfectionist. I know my voice is going to sound dandy.

In Rob’s case I sense that there’s something bubbling, that this could be better but I have no intention of hanging around a studio to find out as I have an aversion to cabin fever.

See one of my favourite dishes is pasta with garlic, chilli, parsley and parmesan.

It’s comforting, quick and tasty.

I can’t remember the last time Rob cooked for me but many moons ago at Morrissey Road, Erskineville, he prepared a plum and pear pie that even my mother couldn’t combat, ... he made his own pastry.

I bumped into an old friend in Madrid a few weeks ago and he asked me if I was still writing songs.

“Golf is not an option for me.” I replied.

Neither is it for Rob.
