Well after a busy weekend singing Scott Walker and then David McComb songs I’m now focusing on the May shows coming up.
Three states, three guises...
Returning to St Kilda with Shane O’Mara to play the new George Lane Friday, May 7 with very special guests Mark Ferrie’s Instant Noodles ~ featuring Mark on electric guitar and drummer extraordinaire Haz O’Mara ~ son of the maestro. If Mark’s name rings a bell he’s best know as the bassist in The Models. It’s an eclectic mix of instrumentals and as the name suggests ~ noodling.
Then the weekend of May 22/23 I head to Canberra and Adelaide.
Peter Milton Walsh [The Apartments] joins me for our double bill at the Polish White Eagle aka Live at the Polo. Our last performance in Sydney we made Lindy Morrison cry, so she’s promised to sit in on a few tunes to straighten us out and spread some cheer.
I fly to Adelaide next. I’m back at my favourite venue in SA for an early Sunday show at The Wheaty in Thebarton, playing Song Gifts to some fine folk there.
